Nepal had given a target of 344 runs to Kuwait in the Under-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier

Nepal has given Kuwait a target of 344 runs in the ICC Under-19 World Cup Cricket Asia Qualifier. Nepal won the toss at Malek Cricket Ground in UAE and scored 343 runs losing 7 wickets in 50 overs.

Nepal’s Dev Khanal and Arjun Kumal have played record century innings. Captain Dev Khanal scored 125 runs and Arjun Kumal scored 108 runs. This is also the first century in the career of Dev and Khanal. Kuwait’s Henry Thomas and Arsh Sahil Kazmi took 2-2 wickets. Haiber Ali and Jai Mahesh Kumar Mehta took one wicket each.

Kuwait will bat back in a while. Kuwait had to face defeat against Hong Kong in the first match. Nepal defeated Singapore in yesterday’s match. Singapore, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Malaysia and host UAE are participating in the competition along with Nepal. The top team from the round-robin tournament will qualify for the Under-19 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka in 2024.
