Nepal got a target of 121 runs to win the match against Hong Kong

Nepal have been given a target of 121 runs to win their match against Hong Kong in the ICC Under-19 Asia World Cup Qualifier. Hong Kong came to bat after winning the toss and was dismissed for 120 runs in 46.3 overs.

Parth Bhagwat of Hong Kong scored the highest 36 runs in the tournament being held in Ajman, UAE. He played 93 balls and hit 4 fours. Aliyan Zaheer scored 29 runs in 67 balls with the help of 3 fours. Captain Ahan Trivedi scored 11 runs.

Hemant Dhami took 3 wickets from Nepal at Malek Cricket Ground. Subas Bhandari took 2 wickets in 10 overs keeping 3 maidens and costing only 10 runs. Akash Chand took 2 for 43 in 8.3 overs and Dipesh Kandel took 1 wicket. Dipesh spent 17 runs in 10 overs keeping 3 maidens. Nepal ran out two Hong Kong players.

If Nepal wins, it will be its third consecutive win. Nepal defeated Singapore by 86 runs in the first match and Kuwait by 243 runs in the second match. The winner of this six-nation tournament will qualify for the ICC Under-19 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka next year.
